Vintage four-panel Chinese Chinoiserie wall art set featuring a continuous garden scene with birds, flowering branches, peonies, stylized rocks and a luminous gold-tone background.
Each panel is individually framed in black with red and green decorative accents and fitted with Asian-inspired brass hanging hardware. When displayed together, the four panels create one large continuous composition measuring approximately 48 inches wide by 36 inches high.
The artwork appears hand-painted/hand-finished on wood and has wonderful variation and texture throughout the gold background. The birds, blossoms and botanical elements are rendered in muted pink, green, cream and burgundy tones against the gold field.
An impressive vintage decorative statement piece for a Chinoiserie, Hollywood Regency, Asian-inspired, maximalist or eclectic interior.
