Vintage Miniature Christmas Stocking Ornament Knit Red and White Santa 5.5\" For Sale

Rare Complete Lot of 6 Authentic Vintage Mid-Century Miniature Knit Christmas Stockings!

Up for sale is a spectacular, matching set of six (6) original 1950s–1960s miniature knit child’s Christmas stockings. These were originally manufactured as candy socks, gift holders, or tree ornament decorations. Finding a single one in good shape is a treat, but finding a uniform group of six with their original retail hardware intact is an absolute rarity!

Features & Collector Details:

• The "Chrisimas" Typo: Every single stocking in this lot features the famous, highly sought-after mid-century printing error showing the word spelled "Chrisimas" instead of "Christmas". This unique anomaly serves as a fingerprint proving their vintage authenticity and exact production line.

• Original Tri-Color Plastic Hanger Tags: Incredibly, all six stockings still retain their original, rigid, twisted red, green, and white plastic retail hanging loops. These are frequently missing or clipped off by families over the decades, making this crisp "deadstock-style" condition highly prized by collectors.

• Perfect for Holiday Display: Measuring approximately 5 to 5.5 inches long, this matching set is ideal for stringing into a uniform fireplace mantle garland, decorating a retro tabletop tinsel tree, or gifting to fellow mid-century kitsch enthusiasts.

Condition Report:

Excellent, crisp vintage condition given their age. The colors remain bright and the knit fabric is structurally sound. There are no major rips or holes. The plastic loops are intact, firm, and securely attached. Because these are true mid-century items, minor age-related toning, faint storage spots, or manufacturing graphic alignments may vary slightly from sock to sock, adding to their authentic retro charm. Please review all photos closely as they are an exact representation of the lot you will receive.

Item will be carefully packaged and shipped promptly from a smoke-free home via USPS Ground Advantage with tracking.
