Soviet Era, 1988 Tula Production
This authentic Soviet-era electric samovar was produced in 1988 at the renowned Zavod Shtampovannykh Izdeliy factory in Tula, Russia, a city world-famous for samovar production since the 18th century. The piece features the traditional Khokhloma folk art style, characterized by its vibrant red strawberries, golden floral scrolls, and lush green leaves set against a deep black lacquer-style background, representing the rich handicraft heritage of the region.
• Hand-painted Khokhloma decorative finish with gold-tone metal accents
• Internal electric heating element with detachable power cord (European-style plug)
• Authentic "ЗШВ" Tula factory mark and "1988" date stamp impressed on the base
• Measures approximately 14.5" tall with a 10.5" span across the decorative handles
Condition: Good vintage condition. The exterior paint remains vibrant with minimal wear to the decorative motifs. The gold-tone finish shows light surface oxidation consistent with age. The interior shows moderate mineral accumulation from historical water heating use. Original power cord is included; however, electrical functionality has not been tested. Structural integrity is excellent with stable base and secure handles.

Our newly effective Pick-Up hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 230pm, except Holidays. Please make sure to contact customer service to schedule an appointment before arriving. There will be No walk-ins accepted
