✨ Add a vibrant touch of authentic mid-century Mexican folk art to your space with this stunning, hand-painted accent lamp. This piece bears the authentic handwritten signature on the base: "Ser-Mel Hecho en Mexico Pat-En-Tramite". The "Ser-Mel" workshop was established in 1963 in the historic art hub of Tonalá, Jalisco, by iconic artists Sergio Bustamante and Melquiades Preciado.
✨ This piece features a beautifully contoured, turned body hand-painted with traditional Tonalá floral motifs in warm orange, yellow, and cream tones over a muted sage-gray background. While these classic Ser-Mel forms are occasionally found formatted purely as candlestick bases, this particular piece features a drilled cord channel and is fully outfitted as a small electric table lamp.
