Up for sale is a gorgeous, vintage mid-century electric coffee percolator urn manufactured by the United Metal Goods Manufacturing Company of Brooklyn, NY (Model 840A).
This piece features a stunning mirror-polished chrome finish, elegant Art Deco lines, ornate side handles, a decorative embossed band, and classic three-footed claw legs.
CONDITION NOTES & MISSING PIECES:
LID IS MISSING: The original top metal/glass lid is NOT included.
POWER CORD IS MISSING: The original 2-pin power cord is NOT included.
INTERNAL BASKET IS MISSING: The inner coffee basket/stem is NOT included.
UNTESTED: Because the power cord is missing, the electrical functionality of the heating element has not been tested.
COSMETIC CONDITION: The chrome exterior is in very nice vintage cosmetic condition with a bright, mirror-like shine. There may be minor surface scratches, light scuffs, or minor tarnishing consistent with its age, but no major dents or deep gouges. The spigot mechanism moves freely. The underside markings are completely legible.
