Vintage Mixed Nativity Set 11-Piece - Japan Figures & 1980 Atlantic Mold Ceramic Animals
Item Description:
Up for sale is a beautiful, curated vintage 13-piece holiday Nativity set.
This collection features a wonderful mix of mid-century elements that look fantastic together as a table centerpiece.
• The Figures (Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, Wise Men, Shepherd): These vintage figurines feature traditional painted details and are stamped "Japan" on their bases, dating back to the mid-century import era. Sheep, donkey and smallest camel are also stamped Japan and appear to be paper mache or chalk ware.
• The Stable Animals: The large camel, smaller camel, and cow, are heavy, hand-painted ceramics. The base of the camel is stamped "Atlantic Mold" and includes a handwritten signature from the original artisan dated "80" (1980).
Condition:
Good vintage condition overall. The colors are bright and festive. As with all true vintage holiday decor, there is minor cosmetic paint wear, light scuffing on the bases, and small imperfections from decades of seasonal display. Please see all high-resolution photos for exact details. Ships safely packed in bubble wrap!
