Wowzers, here is an extraordinary piece of early soda fountain and ice cream history!
This is a genuine, original vintage/antique advertising sign for ICY PI (\"Pronounced I-C-Pie\"), produced by the famous Automatic Cone Co. of Cambridge, Massachusetts (Reg. U.S. Patent Office S. N. 221,009).
Dating to the 1920s era, this original lithographed paper broadside features fantastic period graphics touting the 5¢ treat as \"The Snappy Pal for Ice Cream\"—not a cone, not a sandwich, but an \"ultra-modern cake container for ice cream\" designed to be completely drip-proof!
Framed & Ready to Hang:
This original paper advertisement comes already preserved under glass in a vintage black wooden frame with hanging wire attached. Finding fragile early paper broadsides that haven\'t been torn or discarded is exceptionally rare, and having it already framed makes it an immediate display centerpiece for any antique ice cream, soda fountain, or general store collection.
