U.S. Army Great Seal Uniform Button, featuring an American Bald Eagle with a Shield, Arrows, and an Olive Branch in relief. The front of the Button depicts the Great Seal Of The United States used on the military service uniforms from the 20th century ( commonly World War II era- the mid-century. These buttons are constructed of gilt brass with the original shanks. The bigger button is about a inch in size and the smaller is about a half inch in size. Buttons are produced and manufactured by Scovill MFG. CO, Waterbury. This company is known for its small-lettering variants typical of the 1870s/1880s.
