13 patches, sold as one lot: 11th Airborne Division, 25th Infantry Division, First Army (two), Fifth Army, 33rd Infantry Division, the US Army Infantry School \"FOLLOW ME\" patch, two three-stripe sergeant\'s chevrons, a \"NO LOSS\" aces patch, and three further patches whose unit is not identified (nos. 2, 4 and 5).
Each unit named here is identified from the patch\'s own design, and for no. 9 also from its embroidered motto. Where a unit is not identified, only the patch\'s appearance is described. No era is claimed for any patch, and whether any was ever worn is not known.

1. Three-stripe chevrons, blue on black. Three chevrons with no rockers is the US Army sergeant\'s rank insignia.
2. Round patch: a white ring on a black field. Unit not identified.
3. Three-stripe chevrons, blue on black, matching no. 1.
4. Dome-shaped (half-round) olive-drab patch with a dark lightning bolt across it. Unit not identified.
5. Square patch: a red border around a blue centre. Unit not identified.
6. 25th Infantry Division: a red taro-leaf shape with a yellow lightning bolt and a yellow border, the \"Tropic Lightning\" insignia.
7. First Army: a black letter \"A\" on a field of white over red.
8. 11th Airborne Division: a blue shield with white wings and a red disc bearing a white \"11\". No \"AIRBORNE\" tab is included.
9. \"FOLLOW ME\": a blue shield with a white upright sword and \"FOLLOW ME\" embroidered across the top, the US Army Infantry School insignia.
10. 33rd Infantry Division: a yellow cross on a black disc.
11. Fifth Army: a white \"A\" with a \"5\" inside it, on blue, in a red mosque-shaped outline. A loose thread trails from its lower-left edge; see photos 1 and 3.
12. \"NO LOSS\" novelty patch: a fanned hand of four aces (spades, hearts, clubs, diamonds). The front card carries a jet aircraft and the words \"NO LOSS\". Unit not identified.
13. First Army, a second example, matching no. 7. Its white upper panel looks discoloured or worn next to no. 7; see photos 1 and 3.
CONDITION ACROSS THE LOT: most edges are machine-stitched rolled borders. Every patch also appears in photo 2 or photo 3, if you want to check an edge. Visible in the photos: the loose thread on no. 11 and the discoloured white panel on no. 13. Smaller marks may not show in the photos.
NOT INCLUDED: no \"AIRBORNE\" tab or any other tab, and no frame or display. The blue backdrop in the photos is not part of the sale.
