RARE - UNIQUE - HAND DRAWN art illustration in black ink with silver paint on a green background - artist was very skillful indeed - scalloped edges all around - sent in 1903 to someone in Dendermonde (Belgium) with a 1c Belgian Stamp from the 1893 - 1900 Arms of Leopold set - there is a name on the front, "Marguerite" who may be the sender (and/or the artist) - GOOD cond although there is a VERY SMALL tear to the top edge about 1/2cm long coming down from the edge just above the shoulder of the bird - still a FABULOUS hand painted postcard and totally suitable to frame as a unique antique miniature - see scans of both sides.If you are collecting antique or vintage postcards for their future investment value, then beware of reproductions because only GENUINE ORIGINAL ones like ours will increase substantially in value! 1903 Art Nouveau Hand Painted Flying Silver Stork POSTCARD Belgium SMALL tear! 1903 Art Nouveau Hand Painted Flying Silver Stork POSTCARD Belgium SMALL tear!
