Original period land and immigration booklet promoting settlement and agricultural opportunities in Southwest Texas, distributed through the Joint Texas Immigration Bureau and associated with the Iron Mountain Route / Missouri Pacific railroad system.
The booklet promotes Southwest Texas as a destination for farmers and settlers and contains period photographs and extensive information regarding agriculture, land development, settlement and economic opportunities.
One interior feature is dated May 20, 1910 and shows alfalfa being harvested in Southwest Texas, providing excellent period documentation for the publication.
