Vintage Westinghouse Electric oscillating desk/table fan featuring a large approximately 17” diameter wire cage, four metal blades, original Westinghouse “W” center badge, heavy metal base and original motor identification plate.
This fan is being sold FOR PARTS, REPAIR OR RESTORATION ONLY.
The electrical wiring is extremely old and deteriorated, with fraying and exposed wiring present. Because of the condition of the wiring, the fan has NOT been plugged in or electrically tested. It should be professionally inspected and rewired before any attempt is made to operate it.
The fan is in rough, unrestored condition and shows substantial wear from age and storage, including surface rust/oxidation, paint loss, scratches, dirt/dust and general deterioration. The wire cage has bending/damage in areas. Please review the photographs carefully for the exact condition and completeness.
The original Westinghouse motor identification plate is still present. The plate is worn and difficult to read; the Style number appears to end in “347.” Please refer to the close-up photos of the plate for identification.
This would make a great project for an antique fan collector/restorer or could be used as a source of original Westinghouse parts.
