Vintage 1946 & 1950 Bee No. 92 Club Special Playing Cards – 4 Deck Lot
Offered is a very nice group of four vintage Bee No. 92 Club Special playing card decks, manufactured under The N.Y. Consolidated Card Co. name.
All four feature the classic Back No. 67 design marked:
EXTRA SELECTED FOR CLUB SPECIAL
The group consists of three red-backed decks and one blue-backed deck, all retaining their original matching Bee No. 92 Club Special boxes.
Dating
The Ace of Spades production codes visible on the four decks are:
M3308 – 1950
H3371 – 1946
M3313 – 1950
H3320 – 1946
The dating is additionally supported by the surviving federal playing-card tax-stamp evidence. The M3308 deck retains a 1 PACK tax stamp, while the H3371 deck retains a partial tax stamp. The other two boxes show evidence where their original stamps were removed.
The federal 1 PACK stamp dates to the 1940–1965 tax-stamp period, which resolves the repeating production-code letters to the 1946 and 1950 production cycles represented by these decks.
Contents
All four decks have been individually counted and each contains all 52 standard playing cards.
One of the four decks also includes its Joker and original instruction card. The other three decks contain their complete 52-card standard decks but do not include Jokers or additional/instruction cards.
Accordingly, there are no missing standard playing cards from any of the four decks.
