The exterior lid showcases a finely detailed heraldic coat of arms (armorial crest) featuring a gold chevron flanked by two five-pointed stars (mullets) and a wheel on an azure blue field. The central crest is set beautifully against a hand-painted gold-tooled \"oeil de perdrix\" (partridge-eye) dotted ground, framed by striking geometric orange and cobalt blue lattice borders.
