Antique Art Deco Chrome 1940s 50s Baseball Player Desk Table Lamp Light Boudoir For Sale

MEASUREMENTS- 16 1/2” Tall x 6” Diameter.

Wonderful original Art Deco chrome metal Baseball player lamp from circa 1940s-50s era. The light is in overall good antique condition considering it’s approximately 80 plus years old.

CONDITION- The lamp is in working order. The chrome base has swirling, slight scratching/scrapes ect and the shade has slight tings/and scrapes from decades of use. The large support stem is a commercial flexible pipe, very sturdy and takes some effort to manipulate the shape. The metal shade looks to be made of aluminum that was polished and has aged over time. The shade has two looped fasteners on the inside that simply clip around the bulb to hold in place. The socket switch is a push style and works as it should but feels a little worn. There is aging/patina on the socket casing, and an imperfection indent on the rim (pictured). The cord has some old white wall paint in areas but seems to be free of any significant damage. Any electrical upgrades will be to the new owners discretion.

A perfect gift for the baseball collector/fan! Please review all photos using zoom for condition details and feel free to ask questions if needed prior to purchase. The lamp is very old and has typical age related imperfections as you would expect but such a wonderful piece of Americana from the golden age of Baseball. Thank you for looking!
