The Antique D.B.&S. 3\" Precision Steel Rule is a rare collectible tool dating back over 130 years. Made by Darling, Brown & Sharpe (DB&S) in the United States, this original antique piece is a testament to craftsmanship and precision. Perfect for woodworking enthusiasts, this steel rule embodies quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Ideal for collectors of vintage tools and hardware, this piece showcases the rich history and heritage of American craftsmanship. This ruler is marked DB&S Providence. According to my research, the tools marked simply DB&S were made between 1866 and 1892. This is OLD! Clean it up and use it, or display it with your tool collection! Rhode Island citizens need this! :) It breaks down to at least 32nds of an inch, maybe to 64ths.
