Beautiful antique Italian gold ormolu compact purse from the early 1900s, featuring elegant enamel detailing and intricate craftsmanship. A timeless collectible with classic European charm, perfect for display or addition to a vintage accessory collection. It is hallmarked \"Made In Italy\" on the interior gold mirror frame. It opens with a kiss clasp, and the hinges and closure are aligned and work well. Extremely rare! I could not find another one of these in the red color anywhere on the internet.The piece measures approximately 3 1/4 inches in length by 2 1/4 inches, not including the kiss clasp.Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Both the gold plated interior and exterior show wear consistent with age. Slight gold tone loss on the kiss clasp. White age spots on interior. Edges of enamel on exterior show minor chipping and wear. Please review photos carefully and zoom in if necessary.
