Antique 1909 Abraham Lincoln Centennial souvenir postcard commemorating the 100th anniversary of Lincoln’s birth, 1809–1909. The front features a central portrait of Abraham Lincoln surrounded by patriotic imagery including American eagles, shields, flags, stars, laurel wreaths, Lincoln’s log cabin, and the White House.
The card reads “Lincoln Centennial Souvenir” and “Abraham Lincoln, The Martyred President.” A patriotic tribute appears along the bottom, honoring Lincoln’s rise from humble beginnings and his legacy as a champion of liberty. Front is marked Copyright 1908 by E. Nash.
Reverse has a divided-back postcard layout and is marked “Lincoln’s Birthday Series No. 1.” Card appears unused and unposted, with no stamp, postmark, or written correspondence. There is a small penciled price notation near the upper right on the reverse.
Condition shows light age-related wear including minor corner and edge wear, faint discoloration/soiling, and some surface impressions visible on the reverse from the embossed design. Front colors remain vivid and display beautifully. Please review photos closely for complete condition.
