This authentic antique porcelain powder jar/vanity box was manufactured by the Morimura Brothers (later Noritake) in Japan. Featuring a classic footed design. This piece is hand-painted with pink apple blossoms, deep cobalt blue trim, and geometric gold accents.ORIGIN AND MANUFACTURING YEARS: This piece was made in Japan during the historic Nippon era. Features the authentic green M in Wreath backstamp on the base with Hand Painted NIPPON, dating this exact piece to between 1911 and 1921.DIMENSIONS:

Glaze/Paint: Vibrant, completely intact colors. ZERO CRAZING.
Gold Gilt: Shows honest, age-appropriate wear/rubbing to the gold gilding. The wear is more pronounced on the lid than on the body, which is normal for a functional vanity item of this era.
Flaws: There is a chip/porcelain loss on the interior lid flange (please see photo). This flaw is completely hidden from view when the lid is resting on the base and does not impact the stability, display quality, or functionality of the piece. The body, feet, and exterior surfaces are free of chips, cracks, or repairs.
