For sale is a beautiful pair of Antique Northern Sioux Beaded Hide Men's Moccasins, circa 1880s-1890s.

The moccasins are made of native tanned hide, sinew sewn, with rawhide soles. The uppers and the split tongues are decorated with beads, all sinew sewn,in bead colors darker light blue,translucent red, greasy yellow, and translucent navy. The main design being a big morning star on the uppers.The split tongues have tin cones with red hair.
Overall very good condition. Minimal loss of beads. Please see the pictures.
The moccasins measure each circa 10 1/2" x 3 3/4".
