Item & Condition:CHARATAN'S MAKE "EXECUTIVE" EXTRA LARGE. MADE BY HAND IN THE CITY OF LONDON.
On of my favorite brands, Charatan is the Rolls Royce of pipes and the Executive model is a top tier pipe. Chartan's Make pipes were made with perfect century old Grecian briar, air cured and seasoned to perfection. Then they were hand carved by some of the most skilled pipe makers of the time. The draft hole is center bottom and the pipe passes a pipe cleaner with ease through the wide open draw. Fitted with hand carved and shaped ebonite stems and sold at a premium to those that could afford them. Actors, doctors, engineers, executives, along with the worlds princes and royalty.
This one is a classic freehand with the plateau rim and plenty of straight grain all around. With a panel shank that is carved slightly bent and the double comfort stem, this pipe is uniquely but unmistakably a Charatan's Make! Carry's the Extra Large and Made By Hand In The City Of London stamps.
Great used condition. No cracks in chamber or shank.Stamps: As seen in photosQuestions? Please ask and I will do my best to answer them.

Accurate and Honest Description? Whatever happened to good ole USA customer service? I do my utmost to be accurate and honest with my descriptions. I research pipes sometimes for hours and reach out to professionals in the field to get accurate listings. At times, even I make mistakes, but they are honest mistakes and the customer is always right! I accept full refund (no partial refunds) returns with no questions asked. I would rather lose a sale than have someone dissatisfied because that is how I would like to be treated when I am buying pipes.
Shipping Speed, Cost? I am proud of the fact that I can ship 95% of the time within an hour or two of you paying and ALWAYS within 24 hours! With the recent increase in packaging and shipping costs I have not raised my shipping prices and offer FREE shippingon additional pipes purchased in the same week (Domestic Orders Only). Not reduced but absolutely FREE!
Secure Packaging? Who wants to buy a pipe just to have it arrive broken or damaged? Unless you PM me with a different preference I always separate the stem from the pipe and wrap it separate. I then place it in bubble wrap with the stummel and pack it in a BOX with filler.
*Pipe stand, duck and/or other props not included.
