* Chlorophane a rare variety of Fluorite that fluoresces and phosphorescesteal green in short wave UV. There is some bright green fluorescent willemite and red fluorescent calcite matrix. Generally these are not bright display specimens. The last picture is the chlorophane phosphorescing in the dark without any UV illumination (lucky shot). The Chlorophaneis also thermoluminescent! Great 3 color fluorescent from Franklin N.J. This specimen has exceptional coverage of chlorophane. Store chlorophane in the dark to maintain best fluorescence. * Specimen size:8 x 4 x 2.5 cm. approx. * All fluorescent photo's where taken using a powerful 8 watt fluorescent lamp at varying distancesin total darkness.
