Circa 1920's, Boxing Pinback Button, "Good Luck To "Tex" Rickard The Gamest Sport On Earth", The Most Famous Boxing Promoter ever. Perhaps the "Good Luck" refers to his belief that his Intelligence, his gift for promotion, and good luck, were the keys to his success. During the 1920's he was the most influential figure in sports promotion, especially professional boxing. The button is celluloid, 1 3/4" in diameter, and in poor condition. The celluloid has a 1/4" chunk of the celluloid missing and cracks in the celluloid, the front of the button is slightly pushed in, as well as rust on the back. A rare boxing pinback button which is not listed in the Paul Muchinsky book on boxing pinback buttons.
