DEWSBURY ENGLAND 3 RPPC Photo Postcards 7 Ravensthorpe Letters 1949-1950 to USA

Vintage grouping of saved family correspondence. All from Dewsbury, England. There are seven letters addressed to a relative in California that were mailed out from Ravensthorpe between 1949 and 1950. Also included are three real photo postcards of places in Dewsbury including one of the Town Centre, one of the Parish Church in the village of Thornhill at Dewsbury, and one of the Wheelwright Boys Grammar School. There is one additional snapshot showing brother and sister from an earlier date. Believe the boy in the picture is now the man for whom the letters are addressed. Anyway - a nostalgic lot for someone with fond memories of Dewsbury.
