GSC Lagrange Ga Coca Cola Straight Side Bottle Georgia:
$29.99

Up for sale/sale is an authentic, highly collectible straight-sided Coca-Cola bottle from the LaGrange, Georgia bottling plant, featuring the famous "G.S.C." (George S. Cobb) embossing.

This bottle is a fantastic piece of early 20th-century Southern beverage history. Around 1909, local bottler George S. Cobb Sr. embossed his own initials onto his bottles to combat local imitators, launching a famous regional campaign urging customers to "Drink G.S.C.—the only genuine Coca-Cola." This historic variant pre-dates the iconic 1915 contour/hobbleskirt design.
