These Early Pueblo or Navajo Silver Flat Hoop Earrings are hand pounded and test to be 900 coin silver or 90% silver, showcasing the traditional Native American earrings measure 1 13/16" in diameter hoop design make them a stylish and comfortable accessory for women. They weigh 16.9 grams together and a little over 8 grams each. The pictures do nothing to show the patina or the true beauty of this wonderful set of earrings. This set of earrings are almost impossible to find, especially not broken, or altered or made into convertible closed hoops. With me stressing to my wife how hard this pair of ingot coin silver flat hoops were, I thought that she would never sell these. I even bought a book on Navajo and Pueblo earrings. This type of flat hoops are pretty early for Navajo and or Pueblo Indian pre 1900s. This set of earrings were a birthday gift for my wife 21 years ago. Since then I have only had 1 other pair of these pre-1900 flat hoop earrings. I tried giving them to her as well and she politely said that she already has a pair that she doesn't wear, so I sold them for $1500 on . These earrings have some stampwork that you can still see on the edge of some of the scallops. Each scallop has a scallop and a pierced hole. I say pierced hole because almost every hole is a different shape that IS NOT a round hole or perfect circle. Very interesting.
