Locomotive Puzzle & Bonus Sante Fe 2-10-10-2 #3000 Same as Lionel O Gauge Model:
$24.95

This is a very rare vintage color illustration lithograph puzzle with 36 wooden pieces. It depicts Sante Fe\'s ill-fated 2-10-10-2 articulated steam locomotive. This is the same engine that Lionelcurrently offers in O Gauge. It measures 29.5\" x 12.5\" and comes in an aluminum anodized frame that\'s 32.25\" x 14.25\" with backing and clear acrylic cover. All pieces are original and show no damage just a slight aging patina as it was likely made in the early 20\'s. REVISED 10-7-26: One puzzle piece in the upper left area has a small portion of printed image missing revealing the wood beneath. I just caught this myself. The large pieces indicate a child target market. Sorry, no box.
Also included is a bonus vintage, original cardboard ad card from 1922 for the Bellevue Foundry Co. in Detroit MI. They likely made some casting for this engine, but it\'s not stated in the description. That contains details about the #3000 such as being 121 feet long plus weighing 412 tons. The card measures 4.5\" x 10\". Will ship in custom cardboard package and since clear cover is resin, breakage is no problem. Plus, the entire package should only be about 5 lbs.
I am thinning my extensive collection for a down-sizing move so I cannot except returns. (see my other items as well) Also, I only ship to the continental US. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for looking! Steve
