Large Natural Turkish Agate Nodule Pair
Beautiful pair of natural polished agate nodules, from Turkey.
The polished faces reveal exceptional fortification banding with soft grey, white and delicate pink layers surrounding translucent chalcedony centers. One half displays striking cream, caramel and chocolate-colored agate with dramatic flowing patterns, while the matching half features classic concentric banding with a quartz/chalcedony core.
The natural backs retain their original weathered volcanic matrix with attractive lichen growth, providing a wonderful contrast between the polished interior and natural exterior.
