These are ORIGINAL knit wool \"wristlets\" typical of those knitted on the \"Home Front\" for GI\'s in Europe during WWII. According to a tag sewn inside the wristlet, they were knitted by the \"Mrs. Boyce Thompson Foundation\" of Yonkers, New York (see image above). Wristlets, unlike gloves, have NO fingers and allow the free use of the fingers, while still keeping the palm and wrist warm. The wristlets stretch and will easily fit a man with a glove size of 10; i.e., 10\" around the palm of the hand and will, of course, stretch even more to fit larger hands. The wristlets are in MINT condition and still are tied together with strings of yarn! The color is a deep green best seen in the non-flash images. Here\'s a chance for the WWII collector or re-enactor to obtain a neat pair of home front knit wristlets in excellent condition.The buyer will have my usual unconditional guarantee of authenticity and afive-day (not the 14-day return period which inserts into my listings without my consent) right of inspection and return/refund privilege, excluding postage.PLEASE NOTE: The wristlets will be mailed by parcel post mail at the actual cost of postage and the unused postage will be refunded to the buyer after mailing when the postage is known to the penny.
