ESP cards are the classic testing tool of parapsychology, utilizing the five recognized symbols developed by Dr. Karl Zener and Prof. J. B. Rhine. When you bring out this set, your audience immediately understands they are about to participate in a serious, clinical demonstration of extrasensory perception. You are able to introduce two distinct decks of 25 cards each—one with white backs and one with blue backs. Each deck contains exactly five of each symbol: circle, cross, wavy lines, square, and star.
As you run your spectator through a series of experiments, you are able to divine their choices, match their symbols under impossible conditions, and conduct professional psychic testing routines. Because you have two contrasting decks, you will be able to perform advanced coincidence and matching routines that require a participant to use one color while you use the other.
You will learn the included marking system that makes all of this possible. The system is entirely invisible to your audience, yet highly readable at a first glance for the performer who knows what to look for. You will also learn a massive array of effects, techniques, sequences, and short essays from the companion book "ESP Collection." This richly illustrated book gives you the practical thoughts and routines to build a complete ESP testing act.
The legendary mentalist Bob Cassidy saw these ESP cards. On a thread titled "You can do no better than ParaLabs," he wrote that their ESP cards were sensational, and that he recommended them to anyone serious about close-up mentalism.
