This postcard features a color-tinted portrait of the Queen and her Maids of Honor at the Fête des Fleurs d'Ajoncs (Gorse Flower Festival) in Pont-Aven, Brittany, France. The three women are shown wearing elaborate traditional Breton costumes with large lace coiffes (headdresses). Published by Collection Villard of Quimper, this is a divided back postcard from the early 1900s. It is postally used with a partial Pont-Aven postmark and a handwritten message, though the stamp has been removed. The card shows minor corner and edge wear consistent with its age.
