RARE 1963 ALBROOK AIR FORCE BASE US SOUTHERN COMMAND PANAMA CANAL NEWSPAPER LOT:
$36.95

Rare newspaper lot of 2. I cannot find much about this newspaper at all online other than that it existed. I do read this was a pivotal year with the newly named "Southern Command" being based here and also that these give insight to the daily life and culture of the American military and men serving just before the January, 1964 Martyr's Day clash which broke the diplomatic ties between the US and Panama.
This is VOLUME 1 NO. 1 AND NO. 3 SO this is right at the start of it. #1 is 28 pages and #3 is 48 pages.
Super cool insight as to what all is going on here at this time. Lots of photos and names throughout. Some red pen lines here and there throughout, but overall mostly good condition.
