FROM THE ESTATE OF A RENOWNED NYC COLLECTOR
A cast iron black witch boot scraper mounted on a wooden base is a highly sought after antique collectible, originally produced by the historic Albany Foundry Company.
These figural scrapers typically feature a silhouette of a witch flying on a broomstick, cast from heavy iron, and are frequently mounted onto a sturdy wooden block to provide stability when scraping mud from footwear.
