This is one of the few souvenir buildings to come out of India and is a replica of a part of the sprawling Khajuraho temple complex: a famous UNESCO World Heritage site in Madhya Pradesh, India, renowned for its intricate medieval Hindu and Jain temples.
It was cast in 1967 by Zenith, NY. with the trademarked name HANAKI, Japan incised on the back.
It made of ceramic and is in very good, undamaged condition.
It measures: 5" wide x 1 ½" deep x 7 ¼" tall.

History: The Khajuraho Group of Monuments are a group of Hindu and Digambara Jain temples in Chhatarpur district, Madhya Pradesh, India.

The temples are famous for their Nagara-style architectural symbolism and a few erotic sculptures.

Most Khajuraho temples were built between 885 CE and 1000 CE by the Chandela dynasty.
