RARE Set of 8 Vintage Compagnia del Tabacco Acrylic Plates Real Leaf Resin 1980s For Sale

Rare New Old Stock (NOS) Set of 8 Vintage Compagnia del Tabacco Acrylic Resin Tobacco Leaf Plates – Made in ItalyAn extraordinary and exceptionally rare find for collectors of mid-century Italian design. This is a complete, pristine set of 8 decorative 6.25\" diameter plates manufactured by the prestigious Compagnia del Tabacco in Milan, Italy, during the 1980s.Each plate is a masterpiece of Italian craftsmanship, featuring real, dried natural tobacco leaves meticulously laid over a fine woven canvas mesh and expertly encased in a brilliant, glass-like layers of clear methacrylate/acrylic resin. Because natural leaves were used, every single plate features its own uniquely beautiful, organic vein pattern and rich tonal variation.Condition: Spectacular \"New Old Stock\" (NOS) deadstock condition. These pieces have never been used or circulated and 4 of the 8 still retain their original manufacturer labels/stickers attached. The resin surfaces are beautifully preserved, clear, and bright, with none of the scratching or cloudiness typically found on vintage acrylic of this era.A matching service set of 8 is incredibly difficult to find on the market today, I haven\'t even found a single piece for sale anywhere, making this a true centerpiece collection for a mid-century modern home gallery, a high-end table setting, or a striking geometric wall display.Country of Origin: ItalyManufacturer: Compagnia del Tabacco (Labels on 4 plates)Material: Real Tobacco Leaf, Woven Mesh Canvas, Methacrylate/ResinQuantity: Set of 8 matching plates a.imagelink {color:#0000FF;} a:hover.imagelink {color:#0000FF;} a:visited.imagelink {color:#800080;} a.imagelink img.saleimage { border: 2px solid #0000FF; } a:visited.imagelink img.saleimage { border: 2px solid #800080; } Rare New Old Stock (NOS) Set of 8 Vintage Compagnia del Tabacco Acrylic Resin Tobacco Leaf Plates – Made in ItalyAn extraordinary and exceptionally rare find for collectors of mid-century Italian design.
