A very rare Clark & Sewell hallmarked silver thimble with gold heart and gold beaded rim detail.
The gold heart may well be a cartouche to engrave the monogram of the owner of loved one.
Marked C&S with a Chester hallmark with date letter ‘O’ for 1897.
It measures approximately 2cm tall x 1.6cm rim diameter.
It is in very good condition: no holes; light surface scratches to the flat surface of the heart.
