Fresh from a local estate sale. Candy Striped celluloid scales are solid, but have rough spots, scratches, chips and a small chunk missing at one of the center pins. The carbon steel knife blade is chamfered the full length on both sides and appears to have a nearly full profile. Both knife & fork have good snap open/close and are marked with UNION CUT CO OLEAN NY. Brass liners are a bit miss-sharpened in spots. There is no patent date on the fork. No KA-BAR markings anywhere. Bolsters on the fork are very good, while the ones on the knife have some lines filed in them and an oddly finished pin at the non-pivot end. The odd pin may actually be a small nail, based on the \"head\" appearance. Please see the pictures for the condition of this item.
