Original Air Resorts Airlines pilot wing insignia stands as an artifact from the peak era of 1980s Southern California luxury aviation, custom-made for the exclusive charter carrier that operated an upscale retro fleet of classic Douglas DC-3 and Convair propliners out of Burbank and Carlsbad. Differentiated by a brilliant, flawless gold-toned wing structure that beautifully frames a vibrant yellow-and-black enameled center shield showcasing the airline's stylized corporate identity, this universal badge represents the unified flight deck uniform profile issued across their elite executive tour and casino transport crews. Presenting immaculate front-face detailing and a textbook dual-post clutchback reverse. This high quality specimen originates directly from the exclusive lifelong private inventory of a former NASA Associate Director and comes preserved on its dedicated display card with impeccable estate-backed provenance, offering a once-in-a-generation acquisition opportunity for top-tier commercial aviation curators, West Coast Americana historians, and advanced vintage propliner collectors worldwide.
Very good condition, some surface scratches. Please see photos for condition.
