Rare qntique WWI diary belonging to Cpl George M Taylor of Livermore, CA. He served with Company B and the headquarters 316th Engineers Band (26 page entries).
The regiment of the 316 Engineers was one of the most active in the military successes of the 91st Division. 7th Corps under the command of General Johnson.

A record of military operations from August 1917 to April 1919. 223 pages. Illustrated with photos and cartoons. Cpl George M Taylor is listed in several places in the book and photographed in the 316th Engineers Band. The dates and locations in his diary match up with the Company B history written in the book.
