This rare combo or at least, rarely up for sale of a masculine 320KS and the high-tier Punto Oro line is a great find and I particularly like this one! Gorgeous, deep grain and great coloring! It’s hard been smoked. - P

Here’s one of my favorite pipe series ever in one of the most beloved pipe shapes as the Savinelli 320KS Punto Oro sandblasted finish. This is only the 3rd I have found so far as less than 75-100 are made each year and this shape is sold out fastest I believe.
As many of you know, I think the Punto Oro is such a good value for what you get, especially in the estate market. I just acquired a 614 exactly like this 320 accept the shape. I now have a half dozen myself in my own rotation.
This 320KS is in excellent condition and the chamber hasn’t even been fully carbonized yet. It’s very near mint or mint itself, I just don’t like saying mint if I missed something. This 320 has a few variations I really like. First, the stain is a rich medium brown with a deep red undercoat that shows through in ridges and grain as well as the smooth area for stamping. These sandblasted Punto Oro pipes are typically black. It’s a nice change and it shows off the deep, wavy or serpentine like grain with nice vertical grain as well. The reds really mingle with the browns so nicely. The stem is drilled to accept a 9mm filter which is less common than the typical 6mm filter. It’s also a hand-cut stem as this line is also known for.
There’s no blemishes or signs of use to really mention. It looks to have been smoked a couple times or so.
I gently buffed the pipe with extra fine White Diamond to remove any oils and old wax and applied a fresh coat or 2 of carnauba wax followed by a hand buffing until smooth. It’s quite clean inside and out, fully ready to smoke.

This pipe has always represented the Savinelli brand for its elegance, seriousness, and tradition. It is an excellent quality pipe, featuring a beautiful briar grain. It is important to note that it is very difficult to find briar with the necessary qualities to become a PUNTO ORO; in fact, only 0.01% of the global selection is chosen for this series. For this reason, not all models from our production are available. The mouthpiece is made of methacrylate and features the classic gold dot.”
The 320 KS Author is without-a-doubt, one of the most beloved shapes and most collected. I know of several that just collect the 320 pipes. It’s easy to see why too. It’s the best Author shape ever made in my opinion. This one is drilled to accept the Savinelli 6mm filters. I do have adapter inserts for free if you don’t use filters. Just request one in the purchase order notes and I can include one as needed.
Review all photos and dimensions carefully prior to purchasing. I take pride in my pipes and all are ready to smoke. - P

All pipes are carefully inspected, cleaned, gently buffed, waxed with Carnauba and the stems are hand polished and oiled as needed. For a decade, I’ve put all I have into these pipes, packaging and more. I really enjoy it and my fellow hobbyists.
