STROPHOLOS / IYNX - Carved in Solid Oak (Hekate Spinning Wheel):
$38.93

This solid wood altar pentacle paten measures 8 inches in diameter , and 1 inch thick.

A new, redesigned version of my whirling Stropholos / Iynx wheel, as used in devotional and meditational rites to Hekate. The design is based upon the examples shown by Jack Grayle in his wonderful Hekataeon. I redrew the design and he has kindly allowed me to add this to my catalogue of work after making a few private commissions of this design. (Thanks Jack!). I present two version of this theurgist's tool -- one with "Hekate" in traditional Greek text, (ἙKATH - the capitalised form of Ἑκατη in the Greek alphabet), other rendered in English. I can also carve a double sided version, should you so wish.
