Ascan be seen in the scans, the image has condition issues. There are areas of missing print, the imageis light and the card was folded between images.

Stanley J. Morrow was born in Richland County, Ohio in1843. He began his photographic career while serving in the Union Army duringthe Civil War, when he learned photography in Matthew Brady\'s studio. Followingthe war, Morrow moved to Yankton, Dakota Territory, where he opened a studio.Frequently leaving the studio in the care of his wife and assistants, Morrowtraveled throughout the Central Northwest photographing Native Americansettlements and army forts. He accompanied Colonel Sanderson on his expeditionto rebury Custer at Little Big Horn. In 1879, he became the photographer forFort Custer but left for Florida in 1882. Morrow died in Dallas in 1921.
