The essence of Grima Wormtongueis captured in this amazingly detailed 1:6 scale statue. It was hand cast in heavy-weight polystone and hand-painted to the highest standards by the same people who worked on the movies.The sculptor is the acclaimed Weta artist, Mike Asquith. Sideshow Weta made the only 1:6 statue of this character, featured in the \"Two Towers\" film by Peter Jackson, second in his Tolkien \"Lord of the Rings\" trilogy.It pairs beautifully with the Sideshow Weta Saruman statue, as I displayed it (NOT for sale).
Limited edition #1028 of only 2000 produced by Sideshow Weta in 2003, retailing at $125 USD (about $177 CAD) upon release. Now retired and increasingly hard to find in this condition. Pre-owned, no flaws, includes original art box which has a dented corner (see picture). As these did not ship with a separate certificate of authenticity, the art box and the edition number stamped on the underside of the base serve as proof of authenticity (see pictures). Comes from a smoke-free home, displayed in a closed glass cabinet.
