Rare Vintage Staunton, Virginia Souvenir Commemorative Plate - Made in USA for Holt's Stores (a local Staunton china, gift and housewares store of that era) by Vernon Kilns.This transferware plate measures approximately 10 1/2" inches across, with a white background and blue images. There is a raised embossed border, with central images featuring various Staunton area landmarks and a center image of Woodrow Wilson.The back of the plate carries the following inscription:"Historical Staunton, VA - Birthplace of Woodrow Wilson - Made Expressly for Holt's - Staunton, Virginia - By Vernon Kilns, U.S.A.".

This plate is in excellent condition - Never used for any purpose. No chips, cracks, stains, repairs or marks anywhere.
