Vintage heavy-duty TESPICO industrial/utility padlock with attached metal chain and an old handwritten identification tag reading “Texaco City Serv Pipeline Co.”
The lock has a substantial cast-metal body and heavy rounded shackle. “T-E-S-P-I-C-O” is visible on the shackle. The attached chain features unusual heavy wire links and is connected directly to the lock assembly.
An interesting piece of vintage industrial, petroleum, pipeline, railroad/utility, or occupational memorabilia.
The handwritten tag was already attached and is included with the lock. The wording on the tag is being described as found and should not be considered documented or authenticated provenance.
Condition:
Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear, scratches, scuffs, discoloration, oxidation and surface wear throughout. Lock has not been tested and no key is included. Please review all photos closely for exact condition, markings and contents.
