Presented here is an exceptionally small and detailed carved figure associated with the greater Ojuelos de Jalisco artifact mystery.
At only roughly a few inches tall, this miniature piece contains an extraordinary amount of detail. The figure has a distinctly humanoid body, large almond-shaped eyes, a pronounced head covering, articulated arms, hands, legs, and carefully defined feet.
What immediately stands out is the impression that the being is wearing a full-body environmental suit.
HELMETED FIGURE
The head appears enclosed within a rounded hood or helmet-like structure.
The facial features sit inside that surrounding form rather than simply being carved onto an exposed head. Around the crown is a segmented band that visually resembles a helmet rim, protective collar, ceremonial headdress, or technological housing.
The arms are drawn upward toward the face and chest, while the body appears enclosed inside a smooth fitted garment.
To me, the overall appearance strongly resembles a small humanoid wearing some type of advanced atmospheric, underwater, ceremonial, or protective suit.
That interpretation is visual and speculative rather than a proven identification.
EXTRAORDINARY MINIATURE CARVING
The level of workmanship is especially impressive at this scale.
