Hiller, a US Naval Academy graduate whose name is stamped on the cover of one of the yearbooks. The lot includes:1. Lucky Bag, 1944 (US Naval Academy yearbook). Embossed Neptune and trident cover in gold on teal. Hardcover, large format. [2. Lucky Bag, 1943 (US Naval Academy yearbook). Pale blue textured cover with red embossed hourglass and Academy crest. \"H. W. Hiller\" is stamped on the front cover.3. \"Grand Council Exclusive Order of the Eniwetok Guinea Pigs\" certificate, Spring 1948. Illustrated novelty certificate from Joint Task Force Seven, awarded to Harold W. Hiller for his participation in the atomic tests at Eniwetok. It features a mushroom cloud, palm trees, and tongue in cheek text. It carries a red embossed seal and signatures, including Darol Froman, Ph.D. (Los Alamos), and James S. Russell, Capt., USN. The certificate is framed under glass.4. Framed photographs of an underwater nuclear test. Three vintage prints in one frame. They show a large water plume and cloud, with destroyers hull numbers 826 and 731 visible. One print includes a timing clock. 5. Framed photograph on a ship\'s bridge. Black and white photo of two officers flanking a mannequin in a kimono. One cap reads \"Capt Hiller.\" Great Navy humor and personality.6. Framed photograph of a battleship crew. Large black and white photo of officers and sailors posed on deck in front of massive triple 16 inch gun turrets.Age appropriate wear. Yearbooks show light surface soiling and edge rubbing but otherwise all pages there and in great condition. Frames show wear. The photos in the underwater blast frame have visible spots and glue marks under the glass, and the certificate shows light toning. All items are original, as pictured.
