Beautifulfinely woven vintage corte fabric probably from Quetzaltenango orTotonicapan, Guatemala. Early for a double ikat weave corte. From athe collection of a well-known museum. Collector also known. Allprovenance will be given to the buyer only. The collector was inGuatemala at various times in the 1930\'s and 1940\'s. It wasaccessioned in 1955. I am dating this corte to the 1940\'s, though itmay be a bit earlier. All cotton

Good/ fair condition for age. Some pulled threads and small scatteredpartial to full holes, which were hard to photograph. The last twophotographs are taken with the sun behind some of the holes.
