Stunning 3-piece vintage Satsuma-style porcelain set imported by Arnart Imports Inc. in 1979, complete with a lidded ginger/temple jar and two matching handleless tea or sake cups.
Features an ornate motif of peacocks perched among blooming peonies, chrysanthemums, and cherry blossoms. Rendered over an intentional creamy crackle glaze with rich raised enamel (moriage), iron-red scroll bands, and bright gilded gold accents throughout.
