Each piece features a gorgeous hand painted folk art motif of a vibrant songbird perched on rich purple grape cluster and lush green foliage. The mild glaze backdrop is framed by striking teal-green stiped banding on the rims and stylized scroll handles. The individual bowls are sized perfectly as fruit or dessert dishes making this a wonderful versatile hosting set. The underside of the pottery carry the signature handwritten \"ITALY\" the pattern registration code \"0604\" and the distinct stamped \"P.V.\" encircled hallmark
